Job Description:
This position involves developing audio device drivers and developing test bench for the audio sub-system. It requires a good understanding of audio interfaces, audio signal processing technology and multimedia frameworks.
- Developing software to interact with various audio interfaces
- Handle routing and mixing audio streams for multiple concurrent audio devices on a multi-threaded environment.
- Developing test bed for end to end audio sub-system.
- Debugging the issues on QCT hardware platform using the Lauterbatch
Desired Qualification:
Degree: Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Other Skills Required:
The candidate should have....
- Electrical and/or Electronics degree from the reputed college.
- Good understanding of audio interfaces, audio mixing and routing.
- Good understanding of embedded systems, real time operating systems, multi-threaded software development, Computer architecture and Digital Signal processing.
- Good working knowledge of C language on RTOS enabled environment.
- Experience in using Lauterbach Trace, ETM etc. .
- Understanding of Fixed point math and processors is preferred
- Understanding of some core audio decoder is preferred
- Has strong self-motivation, can work independently, can work with multiple teams, and willing to learn in a fast paced environment.
